Aaron Madson
Owner + Designer
Aaron brings over a decade of experience in the landscaping industry to his role at Revival Outdoor. His journey began in 2008 as the co-owner of a design/build landscape company in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. There, he gained expertise in a wide range of hardscape and landscape design/build projects. In 2020, Aaron returned to his hometown of North Mankato with his family and joined Smith Lawn and Landscape. His dedication and passion for landscaping led him to acquire Smith Lawn, ultimately giving rise to Revival Outdoor. Alongside his business partner Austin, Aaron is committed to delivering full-service landscape solutions to the greater Mankato area.
Austin Barton
Owner + Foreman
Meet Austin Barton, co-owner of Revival Outdoor. With a passion for the outdoors and a knack for craftsmanship, Austin embarked on his journey in the landscaping industry back in 2010. By 2016, Austin joined Smith Lawn and Landscape. During his time with Smith Lawn, Austin honed his skills as a landscape foreman and team leader. Later, Austin acquired Smith Lawn, giving rise to Revival Outdoor. Austin's expertise extends far and wide – there's no problem he can't solve and no landscape he can't build. As an expert craftsman, Austin takes pride in his workmanship and attention to detail. His dedication to excellence shines through in every project he undertakes, earning him the trust and admiration of clients and peers alike.
Alec Gratz
Manager + Foreman
Alec Gratz is an outdoor enthusiast with nearly a decade of experience in landscaping and lawn care. From 2015 to 2024, he owned and operated Gratz Mowing, a lawn care business where he transformed yards into pristine landscapes with meticulous attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Over the years, Alec also took on various landscaping projects, cultivating a deep appreciation for enhancing outdoor spaces and creating lasting impressions for his clients. The move to Revival Outdoor allowed Alec to further channel his love for the outdoors into high-quality, custom landscaping projects. At Revival, he brings his hands-on expertise and commitment to excellence, contributing to the creation of beautiful, functional spaces that connect people with the outdoors. In his free time, Alec enjoys spending quality time with his fiancée, MaeLea, and embracing the outdoors. You may find him hunting and snowmobiling in the mountains, or fishing, boating, and creating lasting memories on the lakes of Minnesota with family and friends.
